A Stone's Throw Studio in Prince Edward County

Our Studio - Gift Store is located in Prince Edward County, just a stone's throw from the village of Picton Ontario and the Sandbanks Beach. Nestled on the shores of East Lake in the hamlet of Cherry Valley.

The Studio began with the inspiration of fiber artist Lori MacRow. Her "One of a Kind" creations are the main focus of the studio and gift store. Lori enjoys the art of crochet as well as using the felting process to achieve her original works. She has also delved into the art of Needle Felting and uses her pieces as a canvas to "Paint" with needles and wool. She also enjoys the ability to create jewelry using natural semi precious gemstones and she has found a unique supply of wooden beads and findings that allow her to create wonderful wooden jewelry. Living in Prince Edward County has encouraged her creativity. With abundant wildlife and spectacular natural settings like those at Sandbanks Beach she is able to draw inspiration while out on her daily tour.

The concept of A Stone's Throw Studio is not only to offer Lori's creative expressions. It is also an outlet for her varied interests and thus provides an unusual array of gift items.

Discover the unique healing properties of salt hand mined from the Himalayan Mountains. Lamps and candle holders,bath salts and edible salt, are just a few of the salt products available. Come and enjoy the ambiance while taking a tour around the Studio.
